Churdhar Peak Trek
Located at an altitude of 12,000 feet, Churdhar Peak is a favorite among avid trekkers and is arguably one of the best Shimla trekking places. The trail takes you through dense deodar forests and offers mesmerising vistas of the surrounding valleys. The trek leads you to the sacred Chureshwar Mahadev Temple at the summit, making it a spiritual journey as well as an adventurous one. This trek is about 32 km long, it takes two days to complete.

Jakhoo Temple Trek


The Jakhoo Temple trek is perfect for those looking for a short and rewarding hike. Starting from Shimla's Ridge, it leads to Jakhoo Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The trek offers stunning panoramic views of Shimla and the surrounding Himalayan peaks and is about 2 km long, taking about 1 to 2 hours to complete.

Shali Tibba Trek


For a more challenging adventure, the Shali Tibba trek is a great choice. It involves a steep ascent, but the stunning views from the summit make it worth the effort. Shali Tibba is 16 km long and takes approximately 8 to 9 hours to complete. It offers a unique perspective of the surrounding valleys and snow-capped peaks.
